Everything comes from God

Sometimes we forget that we humans why we created God. Often we think people will know just how to live in this world, to reach our dreams, bought all of our wants, own ambition, eat and be satisfied, to be happy in life. We focused on personal matters.
But we miss the real purpose of the creation of God in us, a greater purpose in our lives God why He created us, more peace of mind, or even our own personal happiness.
God created us because of His great purpose that He may be glorified and worshiped by all our lives.

Colossians 1: 16 - "For by him all things were created: things in heaven and on earth, visible and       invisible, whether thrones or powers or rulers or authorities; all things were created by him and for him."

Romans 11:36 – Everything comes from God alone
Proverbs 16:4 – The Lord works out everything for his own ends-even the wicked for a day of disaster.

Aim of our Life: is to show the glory of God –
Isaiah 43:7 "everyone who is called by my name, whom I created  for my glory, whom I formed and made."

How to glorify our God?
  • To worshiping Him – first responsibility to God –                                                                         Romans 6:13 "Do not offer the parts of your body to sin, as instruments of wickedness, but rather offer yourselves to GOD, as those who have been brought from dead to life; and offer the parts of your body to him as instruments of righteousness.
Praising, Singing, & Praying to God
  • To learn how to love –  John 13 : 34 – 35 "A new command I give yo: Love one another. As I have loved you. so you must love one another. By this all men will know that you are my disciples, if you love one another."
  • Becoming like Christ - 2 Corinthians 3:18 - 'And we , who with unveiled faces all reflect the Lord's glory, are being transformed into his likeness with ever-increasing glory, which comes from the Lord, who is the Spirit."
He wants us to grow our Spiritual maturity
  • Serving others with our gifts
God gave a talents, gifts, skills & abilities –

1 Peter 4 : 10 – 11 - " Each one should use whatever gift he has received to serve others, faithfully administering God's grace in its various forms. If anyone speaks, he should do it as one speaking the very words of God. If any one serves, he should do it with the strength God provides, so that in all things God may be praised through Jesus Christ. To him be the glory and the power for ever and ever. Amen.

2 Corinthians 8:19 - "What is more, he was chosen by the churches to accompany us as we carry the offering, which we administer in order to honor the Lord himself and to show our eagerness to help."
  • Testimony  – to testify and share it with others about Him – 2 Corinthians 4:15 -  "All this is for your     benefit, so that the grace that is reaching more and more people may cause thanksgiving to overflow to the glory of God."
What will you live for?
  • For the Glory of God John 12: 27 – 28 "Now my heart is troubled, and what shall I say? 'Father, save me from this hour'? No, it was for this very reason I came to this hour. Father, glorify your name! Then a voice came from heaven, "I have glorified it, and will glorify it again."
(God is inviting to live for His glory)

John 3: 36 - " Whoever believes in the Son has eternal  life, but whoever rejects the Son will not see life, for God's wrath remains on him."

Is there anyone in the world who never goes through difficult times?

"No matter how dark, disturbing, painful, and upsetting our circumstances may seem, there is a place of peace God has for each of us."

Overcoming Depression

...to overcome depression..

PRAY
TRUST
and FAITHFUL to GOD

" Why are you so downcast, o my soul, my inner self?
Why are you so disturbed and disquieted within me?
I choose to put my hope in you, God, to wait expectantly
for you, and I will still  praise You, my help, my Savior and
my God. O my God, my life is downcast within me,
and it is more than I can bear; therefore
I will remember you!
                                 Psalm 42:5-6

From the book i'd read, it's all about the Power of Prayer & Scripture in Emotional Healing.

"Lord I want to be whole." These words are the heart-cry of many Christians who, in spite of their relationship with the Lord, find themselves dealing with overwhelming anger, guilt, depression-or perhaps the nagging feeling that something inside them just is not right.

The book of "Lord, I Want To Be Whole" by Stormie Omartian outlines seven biblical steps to wholeness, based on the power of Prayer & Scripture to change our life.
      "
For I will restore health to you and heal you of your wounds, says the LORD." - Jeremiah 30:17

Our mind and emotions, like our physical body, need to be freed from stress, fed properly, exercised, cleansed, nurtured, retrained, exposed to freshness and light, and given rest.

Here are seven steps that will help us to do all these things:

Step One: Release the Past

Confess to God the times you have failed, and release the times others have failed you by moving in full forgiveness.

"Let all bitterness, wrath, anger, clamor, & evil speaking be put away from you, with all malice. And be kind to one another,
tenderhearted, forgiving one another, even as God in Christ forgave you." Ephesians 4:31-32

"Do not remember the former things, nor consider the things of old. Behold,
I will do  a new thing; now it shall spring forth; shall you not know it?" Isaiah 43:18-19

Step Two: Live in Obedience

Understand that God's rules are for your benefit, and try to the best of your knowledge to live His way, knowing that every step of obedience brings you closer to total wholeness.

"If you are willing and Obedient, You shall eat the good of the land." Isaiah 1:19

"Do not merely listen to the word, and so deceive yourselves. Do what it says." James 1:22

Step Three: Find Deliverance

Recognize who your enemy is, and separate yourself from anything that separates you from God or keeps you from becoming all He made you to be.
"Many are the afflictions of the righteous, But  the LORD delivers him out of them all." Psalm 34:19

God wants us to reach out and touch Him so that He can touch us with His wholeness in every part of our being.

Step Four: Seek Total Restoration

Refuse to accept less than all God has for you, and remember that finding wholeness is an ongoing process.

"In my anguish I cried to the LORD, and he answered by setting me free." Psalm 118:5

"And the Lord will deliver me from every evil work and preserve me for His heavenly kingdom." 2 Timothy 4:18

Step Five: Receive God's Gifts

Acknowledge the gifts God has given to you, and take the steps necessary to receive them.

"Every good gift and every perfect gift is from above, and comes down from the Father of lights,
with whom there is no variation or shadow of turning." James 1:17

"As each one has received a gift, minister it to one another, as good stewards of the manifold grace of God." 1 Peter 4:10

Step Six: Reject the Pitfalls

Avoid or get free of the negative traps and deceptions that rob you of life.

"And he who comes up from the midst of the pit shall be caught in the snare." Isaiah 24:18

"The fear of the Lord is a fountain of life, to turn one way from the snares of death." Proverbs 14:27

Step Seven: Stand Strong

Believe that as long as you stand with God and don't give up, you win.
      'Trusting God for every Step"
      "Growing up in the Lord"

"Be strong in the LORD in the power of His might." Ephesians 6:10

"By Standing firm you will gain life". Luke 21:19

"Be Steadfast, immovable, always abounding in the work of the Lord,
knowing that your labor is not in vain in the Lord." 1 Corinthians 15:58

"Arise, shine; For your light has come! And the glory of the Lord is risen upon you." Isaiah 60:1

"Live in Obedience by Fasting & Prayer"(from the book of Lord, i want to be whole)

..I truly believe that fasting helped me to be set free with greater speed and completeness...

God designed fasting to bring us into a deeper knowledge of Him, to release the Holy Spirit's work in our lives, and to bring us to greater health and wholeness. Fasting blesses every area of our mental, physical, spiritual, and emotional lives. It breaks down strongholds that we are not even aware the enemy has erected against us. In fact, the Bible says certain spirits can only be broken through fasting. When Jesus' disciples asked why evil spirits didn't submit to them, He replied, "This kind can come out by nothing but prayer and fasting" -Mark 9:29.
Fasting is like getting a holy oiling so the devil can't hold on to you.

Fasting is a Spiritual exercise and discipline during which you give yourself completely to prayer and close communication with GOD.

Reasons to Fast:

  1. To purify and cleanse the spirit, soul & body
  2. To receive divine guidance and revelation
  3. To seek God's face and have a closer walk with Him
  4. To hear God better and to understand His will more fully
  5. To invite God's power to flow through you mightily
  6. To establish a position of spiritual strength and dominion
  7. To break any bondage on your life
  8. To receive clarity of mind
  9. To be freed from evil or debilitating thoughts
  10. To break through depression
  11. To weaken the power of the devil in your life
  12. To stabilize you when life seems out of control
  13. To be strengthened in your body and soul
  14. To break the lusting of the flesh after anything
  15. To discover gifts God has placed in you
  16. To be released from heavy burdens
  17. To establish a clean heart and right spirit within you
  18. To be set free from negative emotions
  19. To find healing
  20. To gain strength for what you don't have the ability to do without God's help

Prayer & Fasting is an instrument for defeating the enemy.

Do you have a lifelong friend? do you have a best friend now?........We need each other!

FRIENDSHIP "One of the greatest sources of comfort and Joy is GOD's gift of
friendship."
....God makes our lives a medley of joy & tears, hope & help, love &
encouragement.....
....Proverbs 16:24 - Pleasant words are like a honeycomb, making people happy &
healthy...
....Proverbs 18:24 - A man who has friends must himself be friendly, but there is a
friend who sticks closer than a brother....
*** sometimes friendship expresses more intense love than that we share with our family. but without exception, all of us need the support of someone we trust and whom we can share our joys, sorrows, challenges, and heart with...
****A true friend is someone to cry with as a comfort in times of trouble; someone to laugh with in order to rekindle joy; someone to pray with to lift our spirits; someone to argue with as we challenge each other to grow and be our best; someone to share hearts with us so that we can know them & ourselves better; someone to forgive and be forgiven by as we learn about God's redemptive love for us; someone to grow old with as we become women of wisdom & grace together.....FRIENDS are good for the soul.....
....GOD will.... be your friend (John 15:15) .....Never leave you (Hebrews 13:5)....Be
with you as you meet with other believers (Matthew 18:20)......
