How do we celebrate during Holy week?
Where do they celebrate?

Mayroon ding pagsasadula ng Senakulo o Passion play, it's a dramatization of the life and times of Jesus Christ. It is also a traditional part of Lent in several Christian denominations.

Their performances are always accompanied by complete prayer and fasting to be guided by God and the viewers feel the message of dramatization in the redemption made by our Lord Jesus Christ. Praise God!....

..when I watch, lalo na kapag nasa part na ng pinapalo at hinahampas ang Panginoong Hesus, hindi ko makayang panoorin at di ko mapigilan ang pagluha at yung parang nararamdaman mo na sumisikip yung dibdib mo...😢, ang hirap at napakasakit sa kalooban.... and also when I watched the movie of Passion Of Christ by Mel Gibson, hindi ko talagang kayang tingnan, while Jesus Christ beaten at the back  and crucified. 😢

Why Jesus Christ crucified and died for us?......
.......because He loves us....💗  He wants to forgive us for our sins, b'coz we are a sinner.....

The Bible say's:
           Roma 5:8 (Ang Biblia)
           Romans 5:8 Amplified Bible (AMP)
"8 But God clearly shows and proves His own love for us, by the fact that while we were still sinners, Christ died for us."

What is the best thing to do when celebrating the Holy Week or Easter day?
or What is the right way to commemorate the Holy Week?

When we remember the sacrifices of our Lord Jesus Christ made to us. He was insulted, despised, blamed by blasphemy. He was wounded for our transgressions, beaten for our iniquities, and by His stripes we are healed.

The Bible say's:
           Isaiah 53: 3-5
" He is despised and rejected of men; a man of sorrows, and acquainted with grief: and we hid as it were our faces from him; he was despised, and we esteemed him not."
" Surely he hath borne our griefs, and carried our sorrows: yet we did esteem him stricken, smitten of God, and afflicted."
"But he was wounded for our transgressions, he was bruised for our iniquities: the chastisement of our peace was upon him; and with his stripes we are healed."

Although  we have different ways to commemorate the Holy Week, but we have the best way to remember on the death and resurrection of our Lord Jesus Christ, and to be glorify our God and will be pleasing to His presence.

The best thing to do in commemorating for the Holy Week:

 1. TO PRAY o MANALANGIN 🙏
The spiritual response to God. Prayer covers a wide spectrum of addressing and hearing God, interceding with an wait for the Lord, and contemplating and petitioning our Father in heaven. (NIV Compact Dictionary of The Bible)

"Prayer is the key for everything and the breath of the Christians."

The Bible say's:
1 Thessalonians 5:16-18 Amplified Bible (AMP)
"16 Rejoice always and delight in your faith; be unceasing and persistent in prayer;  in every situation [no matter what the circumstances] be thankful and continually give thanks to God; for this is the will of God for you in Christ Jesus."

          1 Tesalonica 5:16-18 Ang Biblia
             "16 Mangagalak kayong lagi;
              17 Magsipanalangin kayong walang patid;

Pray to God with humility, submitted, full of faith, hope of heart and you will see God's goodness manifest in the midst of all happening. Draw close to Him and let Him heal and purify you and bring you into new knowledge of Him.

The Bible says:
       James 4:8 (AMP)
"8 Come close to God [with a contrite heart] and He will come close to you. Wash your hands, you sinners; and purify your [unfaithful] hearts, you double-minded [people]

2. MEDITATE THE WORD OF GOD 📘

        Psalms 1:2 (AMP)
"But his delight is in the law of the Lord,
And on His law [His precepts and teachings] he [habitually] meditates day and night."

           2 Timothy 3: 15 - 16 (AMP)

"15 and how from childhood you have known the sacred writings (Hebrew Scriptures) which are able to give you the wisdom that leads to salvation through faith which is in Christ Jesus [surrendering your entire self to Him and having absolute confidence in His wisdom, power and goodness]."

"16 All Scripture is God-breathed [given by divine inspiration] and is profitable for instruction, for conviction [of sin], for correction [of error and restoration to obedience], for training in righteousness [learning to live in conformity to God’s will, both publicly and privately—behaving honorably with personal integrity and moral courage];"

2 Timoteo 3:15-16 Magandang Balita Biblia

We also can read some Biblical history and about the life of Christ or we can watch the documentary about in the Bible.

3. TO DO A FASTING O PAG-AAYUNO WITH PRAYER

          Daniel 9:3 Amplified Bible (AMP)
"3 So I directed my attention to the Lord God to seek Him by prayer and supplications, with fasting, sackcloth and ashes."

Fasting with prayer is an important spiritual step, and it is also important for your body as a natural self-healing and cleansing the process.
Fasting is a Spiritual exercise and discipline during which you give yourself completely to prayer and close communication with GOD.

God designed fasting to bring us into a deeper knowledge of Him, to release the Holy Spirit's work in our lives, and to bring us to greater health and wholeness. Fasting blesses every area of our mental, physical, spiritual, and emotional lives. It breaks down strongholds that we are not even aware the enemy has erected against us.

In fact, the Bible says certain spirits can only be broken through fasting. When Jesus' disciples asked why evil spirits didn't submit to them, He replied, "This kind can come out by nothing but prayer and fasting" -Mark 9:29.

Fasting is like getting a holy oiling so the devil can't hold on to you.

Amen!

If we do of these three things, the meditating the Word of God, prayer & fasting are very effective way for commemorating the Holy week.

To God be the glory! 🙏
